Remnant Stormtrooper

Hello everyone! This is Bandai’s 1/6 scale trooper. Did not want a fresh trooper, but; I wanted one maybe showing towards the end of the Empire’s reign over the galaxy. Supplies are short, hours are long, training not what it once was kind of feeling. So this is my attempt.

Hope you all like it.

Nice job. Certainly looks like a war weary veteran. BTW - how did storm troopers relieve them selves

Your Storm Trooper looks fantastic NucMedTec! I think that you achieved your goal of a war weary veteran.

Very well done. Several years ago, I tried to build a war weary Storm Trooper, but I was less than successful. After seeing your finished Remnant Storm Trooper, I may try again. Have you noticed how a Storm Trooper’s long rifle blaster is very similar in appearance to the WWII German MG-42?

Excellent job on your trooper!

Thanks Keavdog, i think proper planning is required.

Hey Mr. Tom, appreciate it.
FotoFrank, i think they used old MG34s for the long blaster.
Appreciate you looking in Mrb865.

NucMedTech Just gotta say you “Nailed It!” Very impressive.

That’s what basic training is for

They used old rifles and guns to build their blasters. I don’t know if they used a MG-42, but it’s possible they did. And in The Empire Strikes Back when the snow monster has Luke trapped to the ceiling of the cave and you see his lightsabre in the snow beneath him, if you zoom in you will see something like the words “Pittsburgh” etched in the metal plate. Probably built the sabre from some flash light.

Nice Job!

Something to consider - apply watered down white glue to the cape and shape it for a more natural fit. Once dry, you can weather or spray a matte finish on it.

That’s what I did to Mando’s cape and Boba Fett’s pants.

Aggieman, I think the lightsabers were made using parts from a flash system for a camera.

Veedub, I used watered down white glue, crumpled it up, let it dry, then straighten out. I think it is more the type of material I used, which was very fibrous.

Maybe they used the force.

Fantastic job on the weathering/wear.

Great job bringing to life what it may have been like for those Imperial forces attempting to hang on! :star:

Thanks, appreciate the comments.
