Does anyone have any info on these a/c? What are they actually racing? Does anyone make a kit? The tour website completely ignores potential modelers! [:'(]
They certainly would be a fun group of aircraft to build… I’d like them in 1/32-1/35th scale though, if they ever did them, since they’re pretty small aircraft to begin with… But, there probably would be all kinds of legal crappola to deal with because of the sponsors…
It’s a shame, the licensing/rights costs vs. what they could actually sell must make it unattractive.
Aerobatic aircraft are used for the red bull airraces. There are not many kits of those, I only now of a 1/72 Extra 300 by Classic Planes. The newer types like the Egde 540 are not kitted yet.
Ive been planning a scratch build on an Edge 540 (red bull racer) for the air race GB round 2. 2 problems. 1. i know nothing about scratch building. 2. Theres not much info on them available for the general public for free.
