Now I assume a lot of you have a database or a spreadsheet to keep track of kits and completion dates etc.. Does anyone have a peculiar or unique way of tracking builds ?
I have decided to just pin up part of the box the kit comes in and simply write the completion date on it!. I have plenty of wall space and lets face it building at my pace I might get 3 completed this year

It is quite a good idea and I really like your way! My āsystemā is to bookmark my builds I post on the forum and to put it into a special folder. This way I can easily go back and see when the build was started and finished. I am not a fast modeller either, the main thing is I enjoy every minute doing it

I photograph all my builds when building and have a completed kit folder for the finished kits.
Currently I am building a really old mold of the Revell DR-1 for a good friend who is a Manfred von Richthofen aficionado .
I havenāt posted this build sequence because of a lot of lack of time I can commit to it in any appreciable mannerā¦and it been a real bear to make it work.
Eventually I plan to create a photo book of all the kits I have built since I restarted the hobby.
This where it is at now (stringing flight controls) prior to the red paint.

I have my own website, so the posted dates are there. I probably visit myself more than anyone else. 
I record my builds with photo albums on Scalemates.

I donāt have alot of completed kits since I started back into the hobby a few years ago. So I just look at my shelves to see what Iāve got or finished
I donāt record a lot of my builds. Only the major or really large builds get recorded. I do have some photo albums on Facebook, but thatās about it. I hardly ever record my builds anywhere else.
I never have kept a log or anything but I just started. Iām not going to keep track of how many hours I spend on it, just start and finish dates and any pictures I take. Iām thinking a brief description along with digital reference materials of the subject.

I donāt keep any formal records other than the date stamp on any photos I take.
I suppose it would be easy to leave a note inside a tank hull, but for other types of model, itās a little trickier. 
I also never keep track of how long it takes me to finish a model, as it would make me sad. The only time I did keep track was when I tried to build a Fine Molds TIE fighter as fast as I could. it took about six 8-hour sessions, so 48 hours total. My other projects are measured in years, sometimes decades.
