I just picked up the May issue of Military In Scale from the LHS and it has a great build of the Dragon T-34/41. Also an extremely detailed build of Tamiya’s new 1/48 Stug. It doesn’t matter what scale you like, because that article has some good tips for pre and postshading. I might just try this on my next build. Not to be left out, a cool buildup of a 1/72 Revell Panzer III. You won’t believe the build is braille. Also included is a build of a DUMVEE (Yep, that is correct, DUMVEE) referring it to the “Special OPS” version.

In other words, it doesn’t matter the scale of the reviewed in this mag, it’s got fine tips and builds that will and should interest the masses. Enjoy it if you can find one.

is that the British mag, i’ll have to get it
thanks

How long before this thread disappears because it mentions another mag? [:p]

SShhhhhhhhh

Hahahaha… I got the April Issue, shall get the May Issue soon [:D]

Never heard of that mag. Is it a sister publication to Scale Aircraft Modeler? - Calvin

Oops. [:I]

Yes Jon, from the UK. Had a great Tiger from Bovington article not long ago.

I also buy this magazine. I like the 1:1 scale photo features they sometimes put in the issue. It’s definitely on my purchase list each month.

i always look in it but most of the time i put it back on the shelf
i prefer AFV Modeller or sometimes Military Modeller (depends whats in it)
and i always buy 3 copys of FSM Modeler just to say how great the mag is[:o)]

it wasnt Jeff that pulled the other posts, it Was FSM
but are these Mags main rivals as there Imports and are harder to find than the US mags

There is no way I would ever buy that magazine! It’s articles and pictures are nowhere near as good as Finescale’s! I remain a loyal and trustworthy customer to finescale.[;)]

Hmm, I can’t recall if my LHS carries that mag. I might check it out. It’s always great to see good finished products as general references. Thanks for the heads up.
And if FSM provided content to this skill level, perhaps we would all be loyal FSMers and wouldn’t have a need to go look for these techniques elsewhere [:P]
