Guys, I’m building a Battle of Britian aircraft set here and haven’t seen too much available for LW aircraft in 1/48 scale. Fujimi makes the Bf 110 C/D, and i’m looking for an HE-111 and a JU-87. Can you recommend any kits?
Monogram/Revell’s He-111 is excellent (I’ve built one) and I hear Hasegawa’s Ju-87 is the best in 1/48th.

Eduard has a fantastic Bf 110 series going. Monogram made a 1/48 He 111H that is also superb. Hasegawa makes a few Ju 87s, but I haven’t built them.

I recommend that you head over to the Group Build Section and have a look at the Battle of Britain Group Build Thread that has recently started. Lots of good information there and don’t be shy about asking questionsas we’re a pretty friendly group. You could also join in with a build of your own too. [;)]
I haven’t built the R/M He-111, but have built the Hasegawa JU-87B and enjoyed it immensely. Good luck, and I hope to see you over at the BoB GB! [tup]
Ive built the Hasa Ju 52 and its a great kit. Needs an interior as the stock one is awfull. 109’s are coming out of your ears though. Im building a Tamiya 109E and its great.

I didn’t know that Hasegawa did a 1/48 Ju.52. Revell do a rather nice one, though.
