Morning all,

Well I am almost done w/ my Dad’s gift(It took longer than I thought… LOL). While doing some touch ups to the ol Wildcat, the main canopy popped off.

You guessed it, by mistake I stepped on it and now it is no longer with us… I was wondering if any of you kind folks would have an extra main canopy that you could spare…

Its for the quater scale Tamiya kit. I am thinking of writing Tamiya but I know it will take a few weeks before all is said n done. I would really like to have it completed by Christmas plus being my first build in about a year n a half, I want to post pix…!!

Can’t help with a spare myself, sorry. If nobody can help you, Squadron do a 1/48th Vac form canopy for the Wildcat. They say that it is for the Monogram kit, but perhaps it would fit the Tamiya OK?

I think there is a Hellcat canopy on the sheet I got for my Helldiver canopy. If so it’s yours.

Go thru Tamiya USA, there are great! (Un like Dragon USA [tdn]) From the time I emailed them until I recieved the part was about 10 days.
