Just finished this little diorama. It is the HobbyBoss 1/72 WR360 C12 locomotive and SSyms80 flatbed, which kit also included the Tiger tank. Additional an Academy Opel Blitz cargo truck is playing its role. Figures, telegraph pole and fuel drums/jerrycans are 3D printed.
The biggest challenge were the telegraf wires, because I did not wanted to have them displayed damaged hanging down. I tried copper wire and stretched sprue, but both were too thick and wobbling around. My final solution was Infini thread and thin strips of clear plastic. Still not perfect, but pleased with the result. Hope you enjoy the photos ![]()

Nice little railway setting. Interesting technique with the power lines.

Nice job. Good set up subjects for this - and the figures look great, especially since they are 1/72!

There is a lot to enjoy in your diorama. The ditch with the water and the partially submerged debris shows a great eye for detail. The is a controlled amount of weathering and grime. Your solution for stringing the wires is certainly a novel approach. Iām wondering though, could you have put two poles at the extreme edges of either side of the base and strung between them, or does this not work because of the scale? (Poles to close together.) This is definitely a diorama to be proud of!
