I think pixilater may come looking for your head for modifying one of his beloved swallows…

just kidding, you’ve done a great job and made it intresting.

Very nice and interesting scheme on your swallow ghettochild.[tup][tup]

I like seeing well known airplanes in different markings, good job on the build and the idea for the RAF markings.
I have three of those Monogram 262’s in my build pile and hope to get to one of them this year, are there any flaws in the kit you could warn me about?

well matrix i bought from a friend who kept it in his attic, and since im here in tx that baby warped bad!! so i really dont know how well everything really fits. but i do know that the whole engine nozzle piece sticks out more in the rear than the one without. other than that it went together fine.

looks good, amazing how what ifs look so good.

Thanks ghettochild,
I have had my Monogram 262 kits since the mid 1980s, hope mine are not warped too!
My next day off I will chase off the spiders and check my kits, they might be alright since I have kept them in a cooler climate.
If you like building warped kits try the ProModeler Ta 154, the right wing was almost unusable, it took four tries dunking the wing parts in very hot water and bending them in the desired shape before they were straight, other minor fit problems in that kit as well.

Very nicely done gethochild ,a compliment on RAF camo.
