Very nice photo, exactly what are the vent doors or whatever they are between the main landing gear? I have made model phantoms but never knew what they were.
I believe they are auxilliary air inlet doors…

There to help trim in a “clean” fit - thanks to the extra weight at the rear caused by the not so phabulous Sphey engines.
I think one of the PPRuNe regulars was the driver of that particular bird.
