Thanks guys. I may add the red stripes to the passenger pod in the future. I’ll see if the hobby shop has plain red decal sheet the next time I’m there. I want to get the 23 inch Replicas Unlimited resin kit sometime in the near future. More than likely it’ll be an Xmas present to myself.

Finally, a kindred spirit. I always hear great praise for this show but even at the time I thought it was kinda “stupid”! I think it primarily was because of the idea the Moon could become a wandering planet basicly acting like a spaceship. After the explosion would its spin be maintained or would it be going topsy turvy like a tumbling asteroid. What was propelling it?
It was a time early in my live when I began to question everything.
The base was made by pouring plaster of Paris on a wood plaque. Once the plaster had “skinned over” I used various size round objects to make the “craters”. The Eagle was also pressed into the surface at this time. Once cured the base was painted.
