Nothing is impossible! If I wanted a hard edge on camo I’d use masking tape. It might be difficult, but IMO it’s going to give you the best edge. Get some that is wide, draw the edge of your pattern on the tape, cut it out, stick it on the bird.

Unless your paint is very well cured, I’d recommend low-tack tape. Before spraying, make sure it is still stuck since some of it tends to pop up in places.

If you used enamel or laquer paint, you might also consider some of the liquid masking. I’ve never had very good luck with it, but that may just be me.

Blue-Tac, Silly Putty, Post-It paper, newspaper, even cardboard cut into your camo patterns are all options. Of them all I prefer masking tape.

If your’re careful enough with a paintbrush you can use a liquid mask to give you a hard edge to your camo scheme. Mark out the pattern in pencil then just brush the mask straight on.

Hope this helps,
Darren.

You could place masking tape along the general demarcation line, draw your wavy line
on the tape in pencil and then cut it out with a new #11 blade. After cutting, burnish down the tape line. Another possibility would be to cut very thin strips of tape that will follow the waves of the demarcation line.

I’ve had luck using sticky paper, not real sure what the actual name of it is but you’ll find it in the arts and craft section. Cut your pattern out and stick it down. On complex curves I’ve used rubber cement to hold it down. If the rubber cement does happen to pull up paint it’s a simple matter to touch it up.

Thanks all Specially MUSIC CITY. I rolled out little strips of blutack and placed them on the demarciation line which i drew in pencil. Then i covered the space in between wiv paper. Next i worked up enough courage to spray it . It came out fine!!!
