Somebody has it? I bought the Italeri boxing (moulded in grey) almost 5 years ago, it only comes with one marking option. A friend of mine built the Zvezda boxing (moulded in olive drab), and he finished it as a Polish tank “Rudy”, I can’t contact him right now, so I want to know if that Zvezda boxing includes any other marking option. My T-34/85 is partially painted, I got aftermarket tracks and will unassemble it and make some modifications. BTW, if anyone has some spare decals, I should give them a good use [:D] Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards.
José.
Yes, I have built this kit. Many years back. I dont recall if it came withm ore than one decal option. I ended up using extra decals from my Tamiya T-34/85 to make it a North Korean T-34. Since you already have replacement tracks, my only other advice is beware on the rear hull joints around the engine deck access plate, I remember there being some issues with fit there.
I think I’ll use the kit provided decals, It was just curiosity… Oh, yes, the fit in the rear plate area is HORRIBLE, the rear plate itself has the correct shape and size (I’ve compared it to the new T-34/76 by AFV Club), but the upper hull is too wide, so there are gaps at each side. I think I’ll add some styrene strip to each side of the plate, remove all bolt heads and make new bolts with plastruct hex rod. Best regards.

I have maquette’s t-34 tank destroyer and let me tell you what .Ido not think anything fits, unless thats the way Tankograd built them!Sorry I can’t be of much help’unless some decals from the dragon SU-122 could help.If you need a pic of the set let me know.
Oh the Maquette T-34s are a nightmare! I did one that took me so long and many many frustrations to complete. In teh end it will look like a T-34, but only after copious amounts of builder fixes.
I know what you mean… This Zvezda kit isn’t a “shake and bake” neither:

Oh, yes, comparing to the AFV Club T-34/76, that Zvezda rear plate is less than .5 mm narrower than AFV Club’s plate so I’ll fix it and remove all moulded bolt head for replacing it with plastruct hex rod.
OH thats just lovely. What do you suppose they were thinking.[:S]
The molds were cut on Monday morning after a three day weekend when the local distellery had a Vodka clearance sale…[:XX]
Back in the day (around 2000), the Zvezda/Italeri T-34 was the best one on the market. It has been surpassed by the multitude of Dragon versions, but there should be plenty of tweaks lists and build articles about it. It was highly thought of at the time and leaps and bounds beyond the more expensive, but less accurate Tamiya T-34/76 & T-34/85.
