Question about miles gear on lav-25

Does anyone have any pictures for miles gear setup on lav-25 or does it not matter with the way the sensor strips are applied. I remember seeing some lavs loaded up on flat beds going to the rail head when I was at NTC, but for the life of me can not finding any pics on the net or in any of my books. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Chris

While I can’t speak for the LAV, the Bradley I drove only had the miles strips on the turret.

I don’t have any close up pictures of the layout sorry. But I’m sure it was just around the turret.

Pardon the ignorance, but what are miles gear?

MILES- Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System. Basically a high tech tool for making wargames more realistic. Every weapon is equipped with a coded laser transmitter that operates when the weapon is fired. The coding is insure that a rifle cannot kill a tank, etc. Every soldier and vehicle has a system of sensors to determine if the shot is a hit or miss. At places like NTC in California and CMTC in Germany all the vehicles are wired in to a central computer to keep track of and analyze the whole war game.
