PzKpfw V PANTHER Modelik 27/10 (Paper model)

Hello there!

Been working for a while on my Panther from Polish paper model publisher Modelik.

Great model and after 5 year long hiatus from paper models with this beauty passion came back with double strength.

Here is what I come out with, enjoy.

That’s pretty interesting,I have seen paper ships, but never paper panzers.Looks good.

I’m intrigued by those interesting Polish paper Panther kits after viewing this website:

Kartonbau.de - Alles rund ums Kartonmodell

Panther IN CUT /1:25/

http://www.kartonbau.de/forum/index.php?page=Thread&postID=293044

Where did you buy the kit and , if purchased from Poland, how did you pay?

( provided you live outside of Europe )

I’ve not purchased anything from Europe in decades and am now very much a newbie where PayPal / eCard / currency conversion options are concerned.

I’ve only recently set up a PayPal account.

Thx guys for taking interest. This model I’ve got from my dad. He is one of the biggest paper model publishers in the world. His business is in Poland. www.modelik.pl There you can see all the models and see payments conditions. He sends worldwide and I don’t think he charges much. Great models! Serioiusly. And if you’re in the armor and vehicles ill recomend checking out models by Waldemar. If anything I can help with transaction. Regards K

Ahhhh, Modelik sells the laser cut armor track links mentioned in the

thread.

I was wondering where I would find those.

Yes, indeed. I’ve used them for this model. Looks great, but took a while of time and super glue. Ill post some more pictures tmrw as the model is finished in 99%.

there you go, this is how they look like. really hard thing to make if you dont have the patience. Im lucky to have one, so the effect is really great

Wow those tracks aren’t too shabby at all. I’ll be very interested to see what the final product looks like.

Hi Kordian!

Nice to see You here . I have seen Your relation on Konradus Forum .That great we promotes paper-card modelling here . Friends from FSM maybe remember some my and my Friend Rajkub paper-card models ,what I introduced here and other 1-25 scale armor. This panther You can correct at some places by watch on Demon relation at thread on 1-25 Scale Armor Forum.

For sure You should to correct gun manlet shape .Good Luck!

Thanks for posting that link.
The photos show very impressive work; even retaining clips on the Panther roadwheels.[:D]

Kordian

Those completed tracks look excellent !

As the 1/25 Tamiya Tiger I has incorrect drive sprockets and oversize tracks, perhaps the laser cut link kits can be adapted to a reworked kit suspension.[^o)]

I look forward to seeing more photos of your work.

PITERPANZER

thx for reminding me of that link. I have seen it before, but not really tried to look in there for technique or hints. Ill stick to the mantlet ive got, as model is 99% finished i wont be messing with it  even tho it might be incorrect. its still a model and a mistake can happen.

Like i’ve said before, the tracks were very hard and time consuming, but the effect is great.

And this is how it looks like on the tank:

Here You can look at my Tiger I . I use workable hard plastic tracks from Vs.Unfortunately pics of the track only on repainted Vs model .Tracks looks much better and you have choice -early or late version to use.

PITERPANZER
Thank you for the VSPro track information and hot links to your web page ![:D][Y]
I do not own radio control tanks and was not aware that parts were available separately.
I will check for a parts source-hopefully in the USA.

You can to buy metal tracks and metal sprocket wheel and idler wheel to tiger I.

Excellent news !
I was considering casting metal tracks in 1/25th using MicroMark casting metal:

I thank you for the information ! [:D][Y]

The night vision device FG 1250 looks very good, after assembling. lots of small parts make it look close to original.

without and with tracks:

Very Nice !! [H][Y][:D[
