Started this in January, completed 4/26. Thought I’d show you guys. Once again thanking wbill76 for his generous SBSs. More shots over in the Diorama Forum, if yer interested. Criticisms most welcome… I want to improve on these builds.

Great jobs on that one! I love it.
Nicely done, with natural, convincing poses and interaction between the “characters”. Your color palette is nicely tied together and harmonizes well between the groundwork, figures and vehicle too. I like it.
Well, I don’t know from “harmonizing” colors etc., but this looks really cool to me, from the rifle slings to the bedrolls, your hard work and attention to detail are evident. You have created a true work of art…congratulations…well done.

What a nice piece of work Steve, i agree with everything Crockett said, it all blends together perfectly i really am impressed by the figures and their skin tones are very soft and real looking, great work.
Ron.
it looks fantastic. i really like the poses as well
newbie question, how did you paint the figurines with such details?
I especially like the guy in front getting a hand up onto the tank. Kudos on a simple yet effective dio.
Thanks, guys. I really consider all you’za guys masters at this so, thanks a lot.
Small brush, thinned paint and a [censored]load of cigarettes.

Thanks everyone. Your encouragement gave me the final boost of nads I needed to get this one into the APMS show this morning- my first show ever.
DURR- that guy is just chillin’… hangin’ out, feeling fresh, new and light after exercising his “constitutional rights”[(-D] You can get a better view of him over in the Dio forum- he’s holding on by the grab handle above the turret hatch. But you’re right, one good ‘cough’ and off he’ll go into the mud[:D]
