Pz III/IV tracks on a Sherman?

Is it just me, or does it look like they fitted some Pz. III/IV tracks on to this Sherman? It caight my eye as they don’t look like any tracks I would have expected to see on a Sherman.

This is what I found:

Below is a picture of an early preserved M4A1. It has not the standard M4 tracks. These are the so called Canadian Dry Pin (CDP) tracks that were used on some types of the RAM.

And here is the website: Sherman

You will notice that they also use a different sprocket compared to the standard twin pin end connector T series tracks.

Is it me or are the tracks on those two vehicles fitted in different directions.

Bish, i believe you are right about that.

Yep !http://cdn-frm-eu.wargaming.net/wot/eu/4.1/style_emoticons/wot/Smile-hiding.gif#### The A’s and V’s are flipped but at least the tracks on each example are going in the same direction.#### !https://i.imgur.com/OTz8Cg2.gif

They are. And in all actuality, the design of the track sure looks a lot like those on early Centurions. At least before they had any rubber pads.
