Does anyone use Red automotive puttty for seam filling? If so, does it work well??
I’ve used it in the past & it works OK. Based an a tip from the Forum, I’ve been using porc-a-filler for a while & really like it a lot. Available at Home Depot & other similar stores.

I’ve used both the red and green auto putty. Both work well.

I found the red putty to be a little runny for my tastes. Also, the high laquer content can melt thin plastic. There is a new bondo product called ultimate bondo. Though it has to be mixed, it dries within hours, it is thin enough to feather very nicely and is thick enough to fill large gaps.
