psi for clear coats

there may be in a thread somewhere already - but didnt see in a search… can someone tell me recommended psi for spraying model master acrly gloss and flat clear coat? tks a bunch

I use 10 psi on their clears with a BD-130 AB .3mm needle and it works great !

A few lite coats is all that is needed anymore and a white film will build up.

Thin with a little water and practice on some plastic spoons.

Wear your PPE the mist is big.

Depends on whether it is flat or gloss clearcoat. For gloss I use 15 psi and a wet coat, while for flat I sometimes go to 20, and use a very light, dry coat.

Sheesh. Maybe that’s why my gloss clear coats suck so bad. I dust them on too much like my flat coats.

I shoot around 10-15psi, same as regular paint.

okay - so i used no. 5 needle, pasche, about 18psi, diluted about 20% water and acrly flat clear coat and it came out okay, BUT, now i can barely see any of the wash i applied… maybe I did too little wash and the wet clear coat diluted it???
