Project 106

This is the latest from my desk…F-106 Delta Dart from monogram-revell.i enjoyed this kit.It has a lot of nice details.I did have a few problems with one of the landing light as it shot out of my twessers and landed I don’t know were. Also one of the probes broke off while working on it.So in both cases I had to sratch build both, the probr was easy the landing light while just a little bit harder.Well I know that this is not my best but enjoy, thanks Digger.

p.s.I am not the best at pictures either.

very cool. does that kit have rasied panel lines? ive thought about getting one. how was the fit?

Yes it does have raised planel line…its revell-monogram.As for the fit it was ok,a few things have to be done like fuel recepical will need some stock filler. As for the rest of the fit it was ok.Its not Tamaya but it does have some very fine details which make it worth wild to do.Very detailed weapons bay and cockpit so for the price it is a lot bang.Digger

That looks great, Digger! Those markings are really cool. I also like the colorful ordnance. What I can see of the office looks great too. Nice build, very nice build!

Nice work on the oldie but goodie from Monogram. Still the best 106 kit available today.

Regards, Rick

Very nice job on an oldie but goodie, Digger! I have the kit and plan on doing it (someday) in those very same markings. Hopefully mine will come out as nice as yours.

Very nice work on the six pack. That is one very pretty model and in real life.

I want to thank ya’ll for your kind comments.I well be doing armor next.I have not done a tank in 3 years and that is what I am good at.I will be doing aircraft again in the future exspecailly sence I have a lot of them to do.Digger

Thanks a nice looking F-106. You did an excellent job on it. I made two of them several years ago. I converted one into the F-106B after doing a media flight in it. The other one was a single seat version for the base commander at Otis AFB who got me the ride. I used decals for the 102nd Fighter Interceptor Squadron which is based there on both models. I have another kit and plan to make it sometime when I catch up on the others I have started.
