Progress pics of my DML FlaK 36

Hello all

I’d like to show you some pics of my DML FlaK 36, all it needs are some parts that have fallen off to be re-attached, and I need to find the top portion of the gun travel lock, it fell victim to the carpet monster just before my dad took the pic.

Enjoy!

Constructive crtisism and postive comments only please.[:D]

Looking good, It looks like you and I are building 88’s right now

Steve

It looks good so far. Any ideas on how you want to paint it? Any trouble spots with build? I
have the kit but haven’t started building it yet.

looks like a clean solid build. Now time for some paint!

I like the barrel and metal chain. I built the Tamiya eons ago, and this looks to be a better kit. Of course it is newer. [swg] How about a dunkelgelb base on one of these for a change. hint, hint.

Be careful with the cradle for the equilliberators, they are very fragile, I broke one (and fixed it) and now it does not aim up and down, the legs are also a bit tricky, as well as getting the gun in the cradle, this was an EXTREMELY tight fit for me, and also, pay EXTREMELY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE INSTRUCTIONS, this is crucial to an accurate build of this gun, ALSO, the pikes for securing the gun in place are both cut off and not, the cut off ones are for dioramas, the others are for plain old shelf life, I used these, and it does not tell you, but you need to cut off the ends and attach them where it says to attach them on the foldable legs, youll se what I mean later. Thanks for all the comments, BTW, I think Ill paint it the stalingrad or the luftwaffe version, not sure…[:D]

Looks like a really sharp kit. I too like the all the metal.

Excellent job so far. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Looking good! A lot of great detail in that kit.

I look forward to your painted version! It sure looks like a great kit that Dragon has given us. Yippee!
