Is there any way we could tweak that section so it’d let you know when you have a new Private Message? I don’t always check the e-mail address those notification are routed to, and check the Private Messages heading on the main forums page even less.
Can we get an icon or something that would indicate when you have new messages? A response would be appreciated.
That would be a good idea, a little popup box stating you have a new message like I get on other forums would do the trick. I do get email notices, but then I’m anal about checking stuff like that!
One of the things I’ve been working on is an update for the forums which does include an indicator of new private messages. We don’t have a tentative date set for when the update will occur as we’re still testing / debugging a few things.
