I don’t know if I am the first one to discover this but there is a new product on the supermarket shelf that makes an excellent masking item. Look in the plastic wrap section for GLAD Press’n Seal, it is strechable and flexible and has no glue residue. Try it.
Caution, it does have a glue residue and if you burnish it you will heat the plastic enough for the glue to come off and it’s a B***h to get off the paint. Use light pressure only to attach it.
Thanks for that caution. I admit I only tried it on a test piece but I didn’t have any problems. Now I feel bad that I advised others to use it. I’m just glad that I’m not A pharmacist.
Don’t feel bad! I wouldn’t have thought to use it for that, but I’m going to try in now. You may have found the next “Future”! Maybe there will be a FAQ about Press’n Seal on the forum. LOL Thanks for the tip! [8D]
