Hi,

the above airbrush got good reviews in model mags last month. Best value against use and features. Does anyone have it and can comment. It’s sounds like a good, cheap and functional brush for a beginner airbrusher like myself.

Thanks,

Ted.

It looks a lot like a rebadged Sparmax SP-35 series brush with an open handle. I noticed that this company sells a similar brush without the open handle too (slightly cheaper) https://airbrushes.com/product_info.php?cPath=32_71_80&products_id=10000&osCsid=ca6a7e60534fe372ad037a4b93ac1d8e , which appears identical to the Sparmax brush.

If indeed it’s a rebadged Sparmax, it will be a very good brush. The Sparmax feels solid, yet balanced. It delivers a very nice, tight, and very controllable spray pattern and works very well at lower pressures.

The only complaint I have is that the trigger button is quite short in length but has a very long throw, which can cause finger cramping in long painting sessions.

I decided to purchase this starter kit. If you complete that companies online survey you get the airbrush, compressor and valve for £99 including postage. Not bad.
