PReiser 1/72 German Infantry Advancing

There are 2 sets and a half of “German Infantry Advancing”, but none of the poses is repeating. There were used various components from all 1/72 Preiser sets regarding German Army in WWII.
They are painted with Humbrol, shadowed with Louvre Ivory oils and weathered with Humbrol 29, Matt Earth.
Flash is painted with Humbrol 61 and washed with Burnt Sienna.
Most of the positions of the figures and the way of holding the weapon and wear the gear are inspired from reference photos.
In the last picture the soldiers were converted into fighting positions. Even if they look a little strange, they are prepared to be put in tranches not to wave their weapons into the air…
And any oppinion or suggestion is more than welcome.

Fantastic painting for 1/72 scale. Go and rest your eyes. I’m about to paint some 1/72 us marines, but I doubt they’ll turn out as good as this. Preiser make some great sets don’t they.

Thanks for posting them.

Wow! I can’t believe the paint job on those 1/72 scale figures. I gave up on 1/72 scale long long time ago, but I now have to re-consider going back to 1/72.
