Posting images as signatures

Hello all, how do you go about attaching an image as a signature. I tried using a link frm my web page but that didn’t seem to work.
Thanks/Dave

Hey Dave, It’s pretty easy but first you have to have a host for your picture. I use http://www.villagephotos.com/gallery.asp After you have your picture uploaded with the host get their URL for your picture. Now open your signature edit and add that URL between these . . . [ img] [ /img] .Leave no open spaces between them or it won’t work. I hope this helps some.[;)]

Okay, let’s give this a go…

Yikes! Bigger than I had expected. Is there a good way to reduce the size so I don’t consume so much space? Thanks for the tip on the image host!

Try this…

Is the number of the plane important or is primarily the person, the name and the japanese flags? I could crop it in closer even more.

That’s just me up there. Looks fine to me. Will it always appear that way now?

or here’s another one, cropped in a bit tighter…

To use that in your sig, right click and save the photo. Upload to where your hosting your photos and edit your signature – unless you rename the image to what you are currently using for your sig.

Perfect! Thanks for the help.

Web Master say “One must save their changes” []

Why? Something wrong?

I heard that VillagePhoto has an option for compression. When you upload the image for your signature, check to see if there is one and uncheck it when you upload. If you compare the image being served from VillagePhoto with the one I did, you’ll see it’s a little bit fuzzier and not as sharp. Try reuploading it and look for that option to turn it off.
