PorkJam’s workbench [1/35]

Jagdpanther from Tamiya in 1/35.

Simple build, I just used Dragon plastic tracks and moved some equipment to better represent a late war vehicle from 1945

Nice work. Looks suitably frosty. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome along to the forum. Superbly weathered looking whitewash you’ve done there.

@PorkJam your work is amazing! The details, the painting… everything with the finesse of someone who really knows their way around the workbench. I really liked the setting — it was super realistic!

I got curious: do you usually use historical references or do you go more by feeling when assembling?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will slowly add more projects I am currently working on.

I very rarely build specific vehicles, even if I have enough photos of the original. I usually just get a feel for how the vehicles from that unit, time period, or location looked and let that guide me.

251/1 from Panzer-Lehr in Normandy ‘44. Old but still decent Tamiya kit

Excellent armor builds Porkjam! That weathering on your Jagdpanther is outstanding!

Thanks!

I put the tracks on. Dragon single links, glued with Tamiya extra thin. It was a paint to put them on, they broke in couple places and didn’t sit 100% right.

I think I might replace them with Friul/some 3D printed afrermarket ones depending on how much mud I will decide to use. We will see

A bit of weathering. I already have an idea for a base/diorama, so I will do the bottom half together with it

Beautiful weathering- all that stamped down mud and grass on the roof and rear deck is a fantastic touch.

Thanks. I am waiting for the riders now. Should be fun
