Hi all new to this I’m currently building 1/72 Sherman’s so I had a thought of building a pond and creating a dockland scene in my back garden I’m semi beginner and would love some advice and input.
I know this will be a task using a 1/76 railway line my concern is damage to the models my block idea as I don’t want lime to affect the railway itself plus I would love to know a scale of ship against a 1/72 to make it look realistic
Direct sunlight damages model paint and the models. If in the shade then they will last longer but within 24hrs will be full of cobwebs 
Maybe metal toys or make all of the vehicles and structure from wood. Then paint with paints designed for outdoor use?
