Polar Lights 1954 Godzilla Diorama

Been on this project for a month. Just completed today. I sold the original base parts, opted to make my own. Paints: Vallejo and Testors. I also added a audio module to the underside that includes his roars.

Oh that’s very cool! I like the Cutlass in action. We need to hear the roar - maybe a short video?

Your base is way nicer than the kit supplied base.

Thank you! Was a good, but challenging project at certain points.

“With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down.
Helpless people on a subway train
Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them.
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town.”

Go! Go! Godzilla! Kaiju approved!

Oh, I love that. You nailed the colors on the big green guy. I have never built this kit, unless it is a repop of the old Aurora kit. Godzilla is my oldest favorite thing, dating back to when I was 2 or 3, and a year or so later when my dad took me to a movie theater for the first time, which was Godzilla Vs the Smog Monster.

Great job on this Godzilla diorama. That Cutlass flying past Godzilla is a terrific idea

I love it! But you need some JGSDF Sabers in there

That was considered, but I wanted to do something a bit different. Besides, the Cutlass is a cool looking jet!

I was going to ask about sound, you did it! One of those iconic memories for so many of us.
