Pink Spitfire gets decals.

Hi folks, at long last I had some time to myself and I got the markings on my FR IX Spit. The decals are OOB and they went on really well with set 'n sol. Here’s a progress pic:

Thanks! I’m itching to get this one finished now I have my new airbrush and compressor set up. I’m gonna be busy over the next few months! Darren.

Darren: Man, that green background really accentuates just how pink that Spitfire really is. The decals looks like they went on nicely. Overall you’ve given it a really “solid” look. Keep the pics coming.

PS On a less serious note, the word must have gotten out about your build over in the US. I saw some girls advertising for you today…their clothing said “Pink”. You’ve got fans!

Thanks for the kind words fella’s, I aim to have this one done by Monday. Gloss coat went over the decals today, I’ll ink the panel lines tomorrow and hopefully get a dull coat on as well. Darren.
