Here is another model of mine. It took me 3 years to complete the project!
Main features are:
conversion from J to S
scratch-built open engine bay
scratch-built fuel vanes system
scratch-built cockpit instrument panels
and much much more. This model won a 1st place and a Best of Show at the two exhibitions I attended here in Switzerland.
Hope you like the Phantom,
Pierre
Well, that’s a fantastic model. I feel I like build “Matchbox Toys” now. Dang, you must be very proud of it. Thanks for sharing your incredible work with us. Gary
That is an amazing piece of work there, I feel like tossing my Phantom into the can after seeing yours. You need to send copies of the pics to FSM to be published in one of their issues.
Hey Pierre, I have missed seeing your work! I followed your Phantom progress with great interest on Plasticscratchbuilders. Your lathe work inspired me to purchase a small hobby metal lathe & mill of my own. Your F-4 is still simply perfect! I saw your post at Plasticscratchbuilders about lighting a Phantom next. I’m really looking forward to following that F-4’s progress as well. Please except my thanks for all the inspiration and knowledge you have given me. [:)] Welcome to FSM.
That is an IMPRESSIVE Phantom! There were a few of those pics that I thought were of the real A/C not the model- no joke. What other projects do you have in store?
That is simply amazing. Even a treadhead who knows little about the wingy things can appreciate work like that. Thanks for sharing it here and welcmoe to the forum.
