Pierre's F-4S Phantom - 24 Feb. (9 pics)

Here is another model of mine. It took me 3 years to complete the project!
Main features are:

  • conversion from J to S
  • scratch-built open engine bay
  • scratch-built fuel vanes system
  • scratch-built cockpit instrument panels
and much much more. This model won a 1st place and a Best of Show at the two exhibitions I attended here in Switzerland.
    Hope you like the Phantom,
    Pierre

As soon as I can breath again I’ll let you know what I think…

Funny thing, I was just talking about Pierre’s F-4 last night and what an amazing piece of work it is. Welcome to the FSM forum Pierre.

Pierre,

I’ve been following your posts over at ARC. I’m thoroghly impressed! Didn’t you open up that little turbine thingy on the left fuselage?

Anyway, that’s fantastic work. Thanks for sharing it.

Oh, I love your current Airbus build too. [:D]

Regards,

That does it. I’m selling every kit I have and am taking up basketweaving.

Absolutely incredible modeling!

Amazing!

Why do i feel so small and insignificant all of a sudden??? Fantastic work, Pierre! You must have infinite patience! [:D]

That is an amazing piece of work there, I feel like tossing my Phantom into the can after seeing yours. You need to send copies of the pics to FSM to be published in one of their issues.

I’m glad you live in Switzerland! Very sharp- I really dig the missing engine.

Hey Pierre, I have missed seeing your work! I followed your Phantom progress with great interest on Plasticscratchbuilders. Your lathe work inspired me to purchase a small hobby metal lathe & mill of my own. Your F-4 is still simply perfect! I saw your post at Plasticscratchbuilders about lighting a Phantom next. I’m really looking forward to following that F-4’s progress as well. Please except my thanks for all the inspiration and knowledge you have given me. [:)] Welcome to FSM.

That is an IMPRESSIVE Phantom! There were a few of those pics that I thought were of the real A/C not the model- no joke. What other projects do you have in store?

That is simply amazing. Even a treadhead who knows little about the wingy things can appreciate work like that. Thanks for sharing it here and welcmoe to the forum.

…Amazing. I am utterly in awe at your skill Pierre. I can honestly say that is the best aircraft build that I have ever seen.
