I have very recently bought a Tamiya Tiger I Mid Production. I was wondering if someone could tell me what are some turned metal barrels. I get annoyed at filling ghte seam, cuz it gets all out if the proper shape. HELP ME!!!
Eduard makes some very nice turned aluminium tubes. Or… You can get a Flex-I-File and watch it take your seams away without changing the shape of your gun tubes. I got my Flex-I-File from Mirco Mark. Works very well, I might not buy another AM tube. I was able to us the tool to correct the kit tube on my Lindberg T-55, which was nearly square. Great tool.
Check out a few online stores. You’ll find what you need just about anywhere.
Jordi Rubio’s Tiger I barrel is superb. Aber also has released a barrel for this variant.
the beauty of the Eduard barrels is that they are turned as a single piece.
i used one on my Panther and it was excellent.
when looking at AM barrels, be sure you know what you are getting.
some have muzzle brake as a separate resin piece.
Eduard are very nice , Jordi rubio barrles are not too bad either , but I think that eduard is better and usually one piece vs. the cast white metal muzzlebreak that is found on JR . If you are feeling very ambitious , try the new ABER barrels , they look just fantastic , and even have details for the inside in the MB , they are however aber and that means lots of tiny details ! Good luck !
thanx im gonna order the eduard tiger 1 barrel. not bad for 12 bucks
