Very nice thanks for the look.

Nice job man,
The Typhoon is one of my favorites - kindof a WWII fighter equivalent to the 70’s muscle car.
How did you like the AMT/Ertl kit ? I’ve only built one of their car kits (Oddly enough - a 70’s muscle car) I’ve never even seen the P-40 kit.
Chris
Actually that Amt/Ertl P-40 was one of the easiest kits I have ever built, with very minimal touching up. I would love to get another one, but as of right now I have over 100 kits to build and others I would like to build.
you HAVE, as in own, as in the closet waiting for you??? 100 kits.
falcon 039,
thanks for posting the photos, nice planes indeed…[;)]
I know the feeling, falcon039. In the 6 years or so that I’ve been away from the hobby I’ve amassed quite a number of kits that “I’ll build later when I get the time to”. Haven’t done an inventory yet but I reckon it’s past the hundred mark. Now I’m trying to catch up on lost time by building 4 models at the same time! Well, I’m taking it slowly per model so that I can do them well. Good luck with your stash!
By the way, great models! Nicely done.
Both planes look great, falcon !
I’ve built a couple of each of those kits. The P-40’s cowl panels fit poorly on mine. How were yours?
Typhoons look mean, even without rockets !
Nice job on both. Keep up the good work !
Thanx pix for the good words. From what I can remember, I think that where the biggest problem was. The P-40 the bottom was spray painted with Testors primer, and the top was brush painted. On the Typhoon everything was brush painted. I am learning how to use an airbrush now, but the one I have is the Aztek dual action. I really would like to get another one soon, being that I have had no luck with the Aztek.
