Hi- looking for a good ref pic or two of a burned out personnel truck from WWII era. Just trying to determine what’s left after an explosion and burning of perhaps a Blitz or a ZIS.

Still combing the web and ref books but if you can help, many thanks.

You should be able to do a simple Google search and come up with all sorts of reference photos.

I typed “NORMANDY” “KNOCKED OUT” into the IMAGES search and came up with quite a few pictures of all kinds of vehicles from Tanks to Autos.

See what you get with

“CAEN” “KNOCKED OUT”

“FALAISE” “DESTROYED”

or some similar simple searches.

Thanks, Gregory. I’ve tried destroyed and knocked out in conjuunction with vehicles, but didn’t think to try locations. Appreciate it.
