I’ve uploaded my photo’s of my mossies on the airfix site, But how do get them from there to here, I do have to wait a few days before they go onto the page, But would you folks to see them too[:)].
Joanna.
And a Merry Christmas to you all.
There is a sticky in the coomunity assistance forum on how to post pics but basically all you have to do is copy and paste the URL of the images between the tags and this will put your pics directly on your post. Just make sure there’s no spaces between the “g” and the bracket. Alternatively, you can post your pics as a hyperlink by pasting the address URL of the pics between the tags and , again without the spaces. Posting as hyperlink makes it easier on those who are still on dial-up, I think. Hope this helps.
Mosquito Maiden,
Check out a post by Stuka_69 titled, Posting???. The 4th reply by Wild Weasel lists a 4 step process that is very specific about how to post photos. I couldn’t seem to get it right until I tried his process. It works great. [alien]

Good looking build by the way! I also have a mosquito waiting in my stash.
Joanna, I’m pretty ignorant of later Mosquitoes, though I really got a lot of satisfaction building my recent 1/48 Tamiya Mk. IV. So I’d like to do a later one. Is either of those beautiful models of yours a Mk. XVII nightfigher? I ask because I have markings for one from the new Eduard/AVI Print decal line, this one representing British nightfighters in 1/48 and 1/72 scale sheets, though I’ll never use the 1/72 one (Hey, what happened to our idea for a decal exchange?)
. The sheet also comes with two Beaufighters (a Mk IF and a Mk VIF) in the same scheme as your Mossie that’s finished in the Brit gray and green markings, and then there are markings for a Hurricane IIc in overall British Night color (which, for those unfamiliar with it, is a very, very dark blue-black). Just curious, because until I saw this decal sheet, I’d never heard of a model of a Mk. XVII, but both the 1/72 and 1/48 sheets recommend a Tamiya Mosquito Mk. XII/XVII kit, which I’ve never seen in either scale.
TOM
They are the airfix 1/48 NF30, Hard work but nice.
