I’ve seen some pretty good tips lately from folks. Could we start a forum for that in the Tools area?

I think it is an excellent idea! I do a lot of model photography using photo backdrops of airports, auto racing tracks and such. I am a firm believer in sunlight photography. Model photography is a subgenre of macro photography and takes some special tricks.

Count me in for considering it a good idea. I’ve read some great tips…but it’s one area of my “modeling” that I try to improve on.

THANK GOD!! And thank you TIM. I don’t know how many times I wished I could use a reference like this. This subject comes all the time in building and lord knows I could use some help here cuz I can build a decent model but my pictures SUCK. They always turn out like I took them in a dungeon and I’ve messed with about every camera setting I know how to. Thanks Tim and thanks to all who suggested it!

Seriously, this will be a great help to those that make such spectacular models, that go under appreciated because of a bad photos.
