DOES ANTBODY KNOW IF THERE ARE PHOTO ECHTED PARTS FOR THE SR-71 BLACKBIRD. HANY HELPL ON THIS WOULD BE GREAT.

I have heard of resin parts on 1/48 from Techmod (seats ? ), I think but I don’t know of PE
Eduard makes a couple of sets in 72nd scale. www.greatmodels.com has them. Just go there and search for “SR-71 Eduard” and they will come right up.
Eduard set # 72-376 is for the Italeri Blackbird and set # 72-257 is for the Academy kit. The Italeri kit is much, much better quality than the Academy kit, (which is the same as the Trumpeter kit, but without the grossly inaccurate J-58 engines). This comment is in regards to the basic aircraft kit, but for the PE sets, the Italeri one is more extensive with better instrument panels and nacelle intake grills
