Perth's Dragon Pz IV E review

http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/dragon/dr6264.htm

This is going to keep you guys busy. 1000 plus parts! Tons of PE.

Simply AWESOME!! II am totally getiing that

I am soooo stoked to get this beaut. I’m definately gonna pic up one of those 251/2’s with the rockets when those comeout next week too.

Comes with a bonus cactus plant to add to that desert theme, cool! The parts count seems almost too much to try and comprehend. Something to look forward too!

Not sure how Im going to incorporate that cactus into the Russia dio I have planned for this tank. [;)]

Thanks for the link eric, been waiting for PMMS to get up their reveiw.

This one is number 1 on “to buy” list. Can’t wait.

That’s a stunning kit… 1062 pieces (including photo-etched parts) for only $ 34-38… very reasonable… the “bad” point: it is a very early Pz. Kpfw. IV version, not so famous… I’ll wait until Dragon release a 3 in 1 Pz. Kpfw. IV Ausf F… or this kit already exists?..

Not yet, but maybe later. They also have a G and a J version. Italeri makes an F version.

Must tip the hat to Dragon’s engineers on this one. Can’t wait to see what they can think of next.

Rats, as soon as I read about this kit in a previous post, I went to the LHS to get one. Unfortunately I’m in the wrong part of the world so it hadn’t arrived yet. I’ll be checking regularly though, because this is one kit I can’t afford to miss! Simply stunning [bow]. And I’m not even big on the average Panzer IV[:O].

Wow, looks outstanding…now, if I could only finish the half dozen or so Tiger kits I have on my shelf, I’ll move on to this one…I’m up for the challenge!

Geez…cactus! It’s about time someone started including cactus in armor kits–that essential detail has been ignored for far, far too long.

Funny thing about Dragon kits lately–each kit seems to include at least one “innovation” that, well, just seems a bit weird. Like excluding PE grills from the Tiger I initial, or the funky little warp thing in the Tiger I late hull…but now, vinyl cactus! Who would have thunk! Man, those guys at Dragon are always cutting edge! [:D]

Interesting, though–I’m no authority, but the cactus really doesn’t look like any species one would find in any desert a Panzer IV would be in, but that’s a small detail. Who am I to say. I just can’t wait for kits to include a small pile of vinyl stone rubble for urban dioramas, or maybe some little beach toys for a Normandy invasion scene.

Okay, I’ll shut up now…I feel much better… [:)]

Everytime I see Dragon has a new 3 in 1 out, I preorder. Then I read the reviews and suddenly I have 2 on preorder. Then I get them and see one in the LHS and I have 3. I just know they are lacing the boxes with drugs (that and making cheap great kits)

This is going to be a nother killer kit, that’s for sure, but I don’t think I’ll be buying this one, not for a while.
