Hello all,

I would like to do a model of my grandfather’s tank durring WWII. I know he drove a tank durring part of the war bu not all of it. I know it was a Sherman, and I am currently asking my uncle information about it so i can know what time he drove it, like was it durring the battle of the buldge or what not. Anyways i was jsut wondering if any of you would know any good websites where i could get some good reference material and pictures.

Most photos of Patton’s Third Army moving into Bastogne are of M4A3(w) 76mm, with the occassional Easy 8 suspension shown.

Major Rob’s got this one pretty much covered … best thing to do here though is continue to get the info from your uncle. Narrow the field down quite a bit ( time frame, possible locations, etc). Then it may be easier to narrow the focus for your search.
