I was wondering does anyone konw anything about a patriot missle system in 1/35 I understand that it was issued in the early 90,s and it took four kits to complete it I really want one of these

You are referring to the Arii/Heller 1/48 Patriots. Theye were not in 1/35. There were 3 kits to make up the system. Also, the only part of the sytem that was even close to accurate was the missile launch trailer. The truck and other associated equipment was something the Arii came up with. They looked like soem civilian tractor trailer, not the ones used by the US Army.

Great Models Webstore shows them in stock for about $25 each.
There are four components to the Arii sets. Set 1 is the Missile; Set 2 is the MPQ53 Ladar (I think it is a misspelling of Radar); Set 3 is the Controller and Set 4 is the antenna.
I agree they do not look like the real thing. They look more like something that would be used to fight Godzilla.

Check this store under product line Nimix http://www.rjproducts.com/ and see the 1/35 scale Patriot Missile. they are resin and sell for about $150.00 US. They are nice looking kits.
