Parts replacement Praise;

Okay;

I do agree with ALL the Negative stuff I have heard. I have experienced it! As you know a coin has two sides. Well, so does this!

My positive experiences started about 14 years ago, maybe less. I had just gotten Trumpeter’s, U.S.S.North Carolina in 1/350. Well I am building away and managed to completely destroy the P.E. form Eduard that was made for this kit. I burnished to hard and completely wrecked the bowl that was supposed to be the radar, and lets not even get to Ladders and Stairs.

So I contacted Customer servive with a Handwritten letter ! I really forgot about it. I had explained about how it was my fault and how much would replacements be? Well, I get home and there’s a envelope addressed to me from Eduard. I thought it was funny that it was rather stiff. Imagine My surprise when I opened it and there was a completely new set enclosed -NO Charge!

This has happened with Trumpeter and Tamiya too. I dunno. Maybe it’s the way I ask for something?

I have had a similar experiance with both Aires and HPH. In both cases it was my own fault and both times i offered to buy the parts, but i was sent them at no cost. In the case of HPH it was a big chunk of resin. The Eastern European companies seem to have superb customer service.

I had a good service from Ed last month. Prompt reply to a question about a discrepancy in the instructions.

Sounds like your PE learning curve was a little steep.
