Has anyone found an easy way to do parachutes (pallet drops or Para)

I have an idea to show a Hercules doing a pallet drop and want to do the parachutes draging the pallet out on a low level ground drop.

This is something I’ve mulled over but not sure how to do it.

I would imagine some kind of foil for the chute with stiff thin wire for the strings, or could you not make one from silk/cloth and set it with a varnish?
