Panzerjager I Loraine

Another oldie but goodie! This is Ironsides resin , plastic , white metal and P/E offering of an obscure little vehicle. Very nice kit - fit well with good detail. I added little bits in the fighting compartment to give it a lived in look - jerry cans, canteen ,a couple of Kar 98’s and a homemade camoflage net.

LOL - I just noticed a disembodied arm in there too, talk about lived in!!

Mark

Man you really like those oldies! Looks like a nice piece of work you made. That’s pretty funny with that guys arm in there! You can tell your tank has benn through some intense battles!

Nice work on the original Marder! I keep hoping someone will put it out in a modern styrene kit, but I think it will be a while.

DM,

It’s a French-style blackout light, not the same as the German Notek although the concepts used were very similar. [;)]

LOL! Are you burying your failed figs inside closed AFV hulls?..styrene mafia… :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks great!

Thanks Bill,

Shoulda’ known it was a french thing.

Gorgeous, man!

I have this kit yet to be built-- these are tiny little tanks, aren’t they?

I did mine with the LeF-something howitzer model. I was wondering how the jager-model looked?

You really made this one shine! Great job!

Thanks for comments guys!

beav - LOL!!! Styrene mafia… Made 'em an offer he couldn’t refuse…

Doog - Thanks for compliment. I have the howitzer armed kit yet to be done - I think it’s an Alan kit? Anyway I saw a few pics of it in splinter camo - oh yeah thats what I’m gonna do!

Hey, really liked that weird Pz 38 auf something -or -other you did in a splinter scheme - way cool!!!

Mark

Hey Mark, thanks!

By the way, the 21st Pz Division in Normandy also used the splinter scheme on that SP–here’s the dio I did on it;

I think this was the RPM kit? I scratchbuilt some of the interior–the ammo racks, the windage chart,–it was a pretty fun project!

Holy crap - that is incredible!! Just beautiful!! Man oh man that is one FINE lookin’ piece of work. Never saw that one before- that should be in Fine Scale mag!!!

You know, my favorite dio of yours is the “Spooked” burnt out Pz IV ,but I think I like this one better!!!

WOW DUDE -SUPERALTIVE!!!

Mark

Thanks, Mark!

I never submitted this one–it was built before I got a digital camera, so I have no “in progress” shots of it! [sigh]
