Hello All,
Just finished a panzer iv ausf d and it looks great, but when i put the tamiya rubber tracks on it, the whole thing looked silly. I have looked around and have not found any affordable individual linked tracks for the panzer iv. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Depends on what you mean by affordable. Model Kasten make super indy tracks, they are between $30 and $35. Friul also make nice metal tracks and they are a little higher (usually), there is also some resin offerings, but I am not familiar with them. Jaguar also has a couple of sets for other tanks, I have the one for the Elefant, and it is really nice and around $15, they just aren’t workable.
HTH,

hey ghurka Academy make individual link track for the IV they cost me 10 dollar australain and they look pretty nice. but i have assembled them yet. they are going to go on my IV H for my hitler jugend build.
so maybe look out for them
Thanks, will take a look at model kasten, the fruil ones are like $40, the kit itself was only $23.
I forgot about Academy. They have some good stuff as well.
whish we had Friul in oz i so wanna try them out
I believe Tamiya and Dragon both make indy tracks. Should be less than $20.
I paid $8 for a set of DML / Dragon Pz IV AM tracks at a recent show / swapmeet.
where can i find some tracks for a 1/35 M1A2? the italeri kit i have has tracks i suspect are going to give me nightmares until i’m well past retirement age.
tanker ask judy garland lol
Tanker 3 are you kidding??
firstly, we’re not talking about following any yellow brick road…[:O]
secondly, all you have to do is click on panzer grenadier’s name and you see that he is from Brisbane in Queensland…
…a small google search and voila, we have a geographical appreciation of something outside the Bay Area!

for those of you still in the dark, “Oz” is a frequently used slang for Australia.
Case closed.
