Panzer IV Ausf. G ready for whitewash

Finally got this Hasegawa kit ready for a coat of pastel-paste whitewash. The kit went together fairly well but I had trouble with the tracks. This was the first time I used an oil wash and am fairly happy with it. This is also the first kit I’ve completed this far in years! Used it as a testing ground for my double-action Badger airbrush and the wash technique mentioned earlier. I’ve left the whitewash and mud for last.

Here’s the completed model…

and a close-up of the left front:

I used superglue to droop the tracks and still need to muddy up the suspension and touch up the road wheels. Any advice before whitewashing?

Any help/comments appreciated!

looks great. yeah, some mud could help it. keep up the good work and post pics of the finished tank.

That is a real nice Iv, sh00ter!! Post the post-whitewash pics too, please

Good job shooter. You’re the second guy in 2 days that superglued to make the sag. Obviously works.

Good build. The tracks look good even though you said you had trouble with them. Oil wash looks good too.

Looks like you are on your way to a great build. Keep us updated.
