Is there a RLM number for “panzer gray”? Which manufacturer makes this paint (acrylic or enamel, no matter)?

Want a really easy panzer grey. Try auto primer. It is really close. Testors makes a dark primer that is even closer. It’s enamel, thin a bit, spray and dulcoat.
RAL 7021. You will get many opinions about the color. I mix my paints, so I dont know about the hobby numbers. A very dark grey should work fine[:)]

Tamiya, Testors and Polly Scale are all usable, but may not be perfectly accurate.Tony Greenland, in Panzer Modeling Masterclass, suggests a mix of Tamiya German Gray with Tamiya Flat Blue at 4:1 to get what he sees as a better match to the original.
Also remember that those colours would be for a tank coming fresh out of the factory. Something that most of us don’t model. By the time weathering comes into play (and with armour that doesn’t take very long) that original colour is no more.
Testor’s Model master makes several great shades of gray you could blend they also have a specific color called sshwartz grau which is 2095 get ahold of a color chip you like and then match it
I built a SdKfz 222 a while back, and I used an old bottle of Pactra enamel. Color was “Luftwaffe Gray”, and it looked alright.
The Freak mentioned weathering and it’s effects on paint color. That is my main ally in choosing colors. After a bit of exposure to the elements and to battlefield conditions, all bets are off regarding shade, tone, value atc.
Here’s a shot of my PSW, it’s kinda funkified 'cuz it was taken through glass, but I hope ya’ll enjoy! It was built SOB, didn’t really add much to it.
