I heard somewhere that Panda Models (of China) was planning to release a 1/72 C-17 Globemaster? The kind in current service with the airlift divisions. Is this true? Anyone know more?

Been hearing that for months now. It would be nice if they ever did release it.
Panda announced that & a few other new kits several months ago. Nothing happening since the announcement, so don’t hold your breath.

Not another Panda PHANTOM kit!!
Three years ago Panda said ( at model shows ) they were going to release a whole Chinook helicopter in 1/35 scale…but NOOOO!!! Now Trumpeter has the Chinook molds that Panda got from MRC that started the 1/35 the thing almost 5 years ago or more!
SO…don’t believe it till its on the shelf!
Just what I need. Another gargantuan model that I have to rent a garage to build and a hangar at the local airport to store. Come to think of it, there are a couple of vacu-form Starlifters out there, the A model and the B Model. This thing would look nice beside them. Now where did I put my 72 scale C-5 Galaxy? I lost my HK-1 Spruce Goose last month! [alien]
