Is there a site that might help me with paints. my lhs sells polly scale and i kinda like working with it but finding colors is very hard. i am working on a 1/350 KG right now and i would like to do the colors that she was wearing while hunting down the bismark.
try this http://www.shipcamouflage.com/
At the time of the Bismarck chase, KGV was in overall AP 507B Admiralty Medium Grey on all vertical surfaces, with decks–including wood decks–painted AP 507A Admiralty Dark Grey. Boot-topping was black, and underwater hull was RN Antifouling Red.
If you want accurate colors, we have all those accurately matched and available in our Colourcoats enamels; no minimum order on paints, and we ship worldwide.
Cheers,
John Snyder
