Paint chipping

beside Kosher salt for that paint chipping effect what else can one use. I just dont have any and dont want to wait to order it.

Any help would be appreciated

Much easier, just prime with silver and lightly sand spots you want to show wear. I do it all the time with my Japanese aircraft and it is awesome. I also do most planes leading edges and it looks great. I really don’t know why people are messing with salt. I also use a flat instrument to just scrape surface paint off.
