Can anyone point me in the direction of pics/refs for P36 cockpit colors? I am having a tough time finding anything. Ive googled and searched here but have not really found anything. thanks. This one will me natural metal, it the Academy 1/48th.

The first of the two P-40 volumes of Detail and Scale has a lot of P-36 info, the colors for the cockpit for natural metal P-36’s were silver lacquer with black panel and details, on OD airplanes the interior was interior green, black detail as as before. These photos are from the Air Force Museum, the guns are not installed but as in early P-40’s the butts were on both sides of the instrument panel.

The P-36A had no wing guns, the P-36C had two .30 cal guns added to the wings. Near as I can tell all production P-36’s had two cowl guns, a .30 on the left and a .50 cal on the right.
