Im done assembling the 1/48 Tamiya kit any of you guys got some paint schemes I should look into thanks for all the help

You should no prblem finding a scheme for a 51D. There are plenty to choose from.

I’ve got this one slatted for the Hasegawa 1/32 P-51 D in my stash. It has always been an eye catcher to me.

Here are a few of mine that I think came out OK. Not all "D"s but Mustangs, none the less.

Are, by chance, a Mustang fan? LOL Very nice work on all those!

I’m that way with Spitfires and P-40- can’t get enough of them.

I like Mustangs but have 3 P-40s, 2 Hellcats 2 Wildcats, etc. I get interested in a subject and start doing research and then really get hooked.
